A lager tasting. Lager is usually light in colour, should taste light and crisp without too much of a 'hoppy' flavour. It is fermented with a bottom fermented yeast, stored (laagered) at about 5 degrees C, generally best served chilled. This evening we tasted 16 different lagers from around the world. Wine Drive night. For those who have not attended a wine drive before this is a comparative, blind wine tasting. What did we taste:- 8 differnet Shiraz'es from S Africa via France to Australia.
