1/2 C. butter, melted
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C. flour
1/3 C. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. chopped nuts
Creamy Brownie Frosting
Creamy Brownie Frosting:
3 T. butter, softened
3 T. cocoa
1 T. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 C. powdered sugar
1-2 T. milk
For brownie, blend butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs, and beat well with a wooden spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; grdually blend in egg mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in a greased 9 inch baking pan and bake at 350' for 20-25 minutes or till brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan. Cool; frost with Creamy Brownie Frosting. Cut into squares
For frosting, cream butter, cocoa, corn syrup and vanilla in a small mixer bowl. Add powdered sugar and milk and beat to spreading consistency.
