Pistachio Pudding Dessert


First layer:
1 C.flour
1 stick butter, softened
2 T. sugar
1/2 C. chopped nuts

Second Layer:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2/3 C. powdered sugar
1/2 carton Cool Whip

Third layer:
2 (3 ox.) pkgs. instant Pistachio pudding
2 1/2 C. milk

Fourth layer:
1/2 carton Cool Whip
chopped nuts
chopped Marischino cherries

For first layer, mix flour, butter, sugar, and nuts. Press in a 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350' for 15 minutes. Cool. For second layer, mix cream cheese, powdered suagr, and 1/2 carton of Cool Whip. Beat well and spread on first layer. Refrigerate till set. For third layer, combine pudding and milk. Spread on second layer. Refrigerate till set. For fourth layer, spread remaining Cool Whip over third layer and sprinkle with chopped nuts and chopped Maraschino cherries. Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
