Sue's Swiss Steak

1 chopped onion
4 T. butter
1/4 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1 C. beef broth
Melt butter in skillet and saute onions for 10 minutes. Meanwhile mix flour, salt, pepper and marjoram and dredge round steak in this. Pound steak on both sides with the edge of a plate. Remove onions from skillet and set aside. Brown meat in skillet on both sides and add the onions. Add 1 C. beef broth and cover and simmer for 1 hour.
