Iced Spice Cookies


1/3 C. margarine, softened
2/3 C. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 C. 1% milk
1 T. vanilla

Glaze:
2/3 C. powdered sugar
1 T. milk or enough to make a drizzle consistency

Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mix. Add vanilla. Drop by teaspoofuls on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 325' for 15 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from sheet. Cool on wire rack. When cooled drizzle with glaze. Makes 48 cookies.
