serves 6 to 8
In a large sauce pan combine sausage, onion, salt, and pepper. Add water. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or till potatoes are nealy tender. Stir in cabbage; cook 10 minutes more or till vegetables are tender. Stir in 4 cups milk and flour into the soup. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Stir in cheese till melted. Garnish with parsley. Top with a couple small sprigs of Parsley |
