1lb chuck, skirt or feather steak
2-3 big lemons
1 large onion, chopped
a little butter
Mushrooms, sliced
1/4 pt double cream
Freshly chopped parsley
Instructions...
1) Discard any fat then cut the steak into matchstick thin
strips using a sharp knife.
2) Squeeze juice from 1 1/2 lemons and keep 1/2 lemon for
decorating.Slice this thinly.
3) Start frying the onion slowly in the butter. Throw the
strips of steak into the pan and brown and turn over a
fairly high heat. As soon as the steak is pale brown add
the mushrooms, parsley and half the lemon juice.
4) Stir all together well and cook for a little longer,
depending how well done you like your mushrooms.
Gradually add the cream and the rest of the lemon juice.
Serve in dish garnished with lemon slices and parsley.
Serve with rice and salad.
