Recipe:  Crockpot Bread



Ingredients: 

1 pkg yeast                    13-ounce can evaporated milk
1/2 cup warm water        1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger                  2 TBSP oil
3    TBSP sugar                3 1/2 to 4 cups flour (unsifted)

Instructions: 

Preheat crockpot 30 minutes on High while preparing recipe.  Dissolve
yeast
in warm water.  Blend in ginger and 1 tablespoon sugar.  Let stand until
bubbly (about 10 minutes).  Stir in the remaining sugar, milk, salt, and
oil.  Use mixer to stir in flour, one cup at a time.  Use spoon for last
cup of flour.  (Add flour until heavy and stiff, but too sticky to
knead.)
Put in well-greased Bread 'n Cake Bake.  Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Place in preheated Crock-Pot, cover, and bake on High 2 to 3 hours.
