Recipe: Cashew Nut Cookies Ingredients: 2 cups sifted flour 1tsp. bak. powder 1/2 tsp. bak. soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 C. soft butter (margarine) 1 egg 1 C. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 C. sour cream 1-1/2 chopped cashews Instructions: Sift dry ingredients. Combine butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add flour mixture and sour cream; stir in cashews. Drop by TBSP. on ungreased cookie sheet 1-1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350' for 8 to 10 minutes. COOL and frost. FROSTING: 1 C. conf. sugar; 2 T. butter (margarine); 1 to 2 T. milk; 1/2 tsp. vanilla.
