Recipe: Cream Cheese Pastry (Crust) Ingredients: 2 C. flour 1/2 t. salt 2/3 C. butter, margarine, or shortening 12 ounces cream cheese Instructions: Mix flour and salt. Cut in butter and cream cheese. With hands, press together into a firm ball. Smooth edges. If pastry seems very soft, chill for 30 minutes, or until firm enough to roll. Makes a double crust for an 8" or 9" pie.
