Recipe: Peanut Butter candy

Ingredients:

1 jar Peanut butter (non chunk--skippy is the best to use)
1 5lb bag powdered sugar
1 jar Karo syrup clear
1 jar vanilla
1 small container of light cream
1 2 lb or larger bag of chocolate

Instructions:

in a large bowl mix all of ingredients together except for the
chocolate. Using about 1 pound of the sugar to start, usually 2 large
serving spoons of peanut butter, a small amount of the syrup. a cap
full of vanilla, and a touch of the cream. mix and knead thoroughly
with hands. mixture should feel sticky not wet. roll into shapes, i
usually do balls or eggs. set on wax paper to let form a light shell,
usually if the mix was just right by the time you are done the forming
you can melt the chocolate. melt chocolate on med heat in a double
boiler. do not fill too much water in bottom pan, water should not
touch top pan. do not let water come to a boil. When chocolate is
melted or water starts to boil remove top boiler and continue to stir.
Let chocolate cool down. using a marble work suface, or a metal pie
tie (no holes) works just as well, this is so you can whip the
chocolate while coating. sit on wax paper to dry.
