Recipe: Stamped Shortbread cookies Ingredients: 1/2 cup of sugar 1 cup butter softened 2 cups flour All Purpose 4 tablespoons of cornstarch 3 tablespoons sugar Instructions: Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and butter and beat until light and fluffy. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off. Stir in the flour and cornstarch and mix well. Divide your dough into 18 equal pieces. Shape into balls. Roll the balls in 3 tablespoons of sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. For each cookie flatten ball of dough firmly with a cookie stamp. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 - 12 minutes or until bottoms are light golden brown. Cool for one minute and remove from cookie sheets. Makes 18 cookies.
