Notes about James D. Clark's family
My DuBois-Van Meter-Shepherd family history dates back to Europe and their early adventures in America. Read this!
Photographs of my great-great grandmother, Malinda Berkshire Shepherd, her son David, and her family and the Clark family including the my great-grandparents, Hibert and Eliza Jane Shepherd Clark, his mother Nancy Cottrell Clark, his aunt and uncle and many other family members. I need to put something on my site that identifies those that we think we know. When you view the photograph on Nel's site you might notice the guy wearing the "modern neck-tie" toward the left side. We think that is my great-grandfather, Hibert Clark. Take a look at the photos here. We've put great-grandfather Hibert's photo beside my 10th grade class picture. Could be twins except for the eyes.
The link to the Barkshire and Barton marriage bond, my great-great-great grandmother and my step great-great-great grandfather, my step great-great-great grandfather, Taylor Baron's Will, his land and his heir's land record and the lawsuit about that land in -- John P. Rust vs Barton Heirs.
Each of the pages referenced above is part of my cousin, Nel Hatcher's web site. Not all of her family branches are part of mine. But you can access her website's homepage by clicking here.
As soon as we have more information and links to post the information will be posted here and linked on the Geneaology Pages.
