Ingredients:



  • 1/2 cup Harees (peeled wheat)
  • 21/2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp. coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 cup boiled vegetables
  • 2 Tbsp oil, salt, white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 2 whole black (dried) lemon


Preparation:


  • Wash harees, add water and cook for 3 hours until tender, add more water when dried, allow to cool, blend or process until mashed.
  • Fry onion, garlic and coriander. Add vegetables, mix well, add harees, salt, white pepper and lemon. Add water when needed, cook over low heat before serving.
