Spinach Dip in a Sourdough round

(I make a ton because there are at least 14 of us at my Mom's in placerville but can go as high as 20 so this is doubled.)

  • 2 small boxes frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained
  • 2 cans water chestnuts
  • 2 16 oz containers of Sour cream
  • 2 packs Knorr veggie soup mix


  • Mayo, I do this to taste, yum, but I would think it would be equal amount to the sour cream if not a little more.

    Mix together.

    Cut top off 2 sour dough rounds and hollow bottom out to form a bowl, cut the cut of bread into bite sized pieces. We also buy a baguette or two 'cause we always run out of bread first!

    Put dip in bowl and watch disappear!
