This recipe makes 48 squares (cut 12 rows X 4 rows)
Ingredients Have all the deli meats sliced thinly:
- 1/4 lb. ham
- 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese
- 1/4 lb. salami
- 1/4 lb. provolone cheese
- 1/4 lb. pepperoni
- 1 small jar roasted peppers, drained and chopped
- 2 8-oz. packages Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
- 2 large eggs
- 3 Tablespoons parmesan cheese
Directions Heat oven to 350. Unroll one package of the dough, and press into 13"X9" pan, sealing seams. Layer the meats and cheeses in the order given. Press slightly. Beat the eggs, then stir in the parmesan and roasted peppers. Pour on top of pepperoni layer. Unroll the other package of dough onto the counter, sealing seams and spreading slightly. Carefully lift the dough and lay it on top of the egg mixture. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover and reduce heat to 250. Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until lightly golden on top.
Serving Suggestions Can be made a day or two ahead. Cool, cut into squares, and place on cookie sheet for reheating.
They're easier to cut when they are cool.
I made these for my baby shower, and they were a big hit. These are also good hot or cold. The recipe is easy to make even though it seems long.
