The announcement took place March 5th at the Plaza Hotel in New York. And she was part of a clean sweep - as ABC News won in every Radio category.
Last year, she won the 1998 Writers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Radio Documentary Script
Ruth S. Davis - for "The Nature of Giving" - on the ABC Radio Network
"The Nature of Giving" is the story of a personal piece of charity involving two American women, a small Romanian village, and how the act of giving changes everyone involved.
The 1998 award was presented at a black-tie ceremony at Windows on the World. Local newscaster and award presenter Therese Crowley of WCBS NewsRadio looks on.
