The Nashville Musician Connection, operated by recording violinists Alan & Catherine Umstead, contracts for some of Tennessee's most respected chamber ensembles. We are made up of Nashville's top Studio and Symphony musicians and vary in size from a solo instrument to a chamber orchestra. We specialize in performing for weddings, conventions and parties. We can be any size group or combination of instruments, although String Trios & Quartets are our most popular.

We have performed for hundreds of weddings and receptions since we formed 12 years ago and can bring that experience to work for you. Our ensembles have performed extensively in the area and beyond, including a 3 week tour to Japan in July 1995 with the Highland String Quartet. We play all styles of music from classical to pop and can tailor our music to your tastes.

Some of the people we have played for include Garth Brooks, Mayor Phil Bredesen, Amy Grant, Lorrie Morgan, Lyle Lovett Gary Morris, Martina McBride, and Twila Paris among many others.
