The band broke up in 1998

The Chad Hudson Band played around the south central Texas area and major dance halls from 1992-1998. Their high energy show consisted of a variety of music ranging from Diamond Rio and Merle Haggard to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Killer himself, Jerry Lee Lewis. They broke up in early '98 to pursue individual interests. Chad is now working at Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, and is performing in the Country/Western show there.

The Chad Hudson Band has opened for such artists as: Willie Nelson, Asleep at the Wheel, Ray Price, David Lee Murphy, Lee Roy Parnell, Holly Dunn, David Allan Coe, Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Peterson, The Geezinslaw Brothers, Chely Wright, Frenchie Burke, David Ball, and Johnny Rodriguez.
