Chris Beck
Upon meeting Chris you would assume
he is shy. He is, until you he gets to know you a little bit. Then watch
out. His sense of humor will have you laughing til you cry.
Chris grew up with Steve Linder
and attended the same church. Chris admired Steve's drumming talent, but
it wasn't until he saw Steve Linder and Bruce Brock performing as "Bogart"
at a youth rally that he knew that he wanted to be part of the magic. Chris
realized that dream in May of 1996 when he joined "Linder & Brock".
Although Chris loves clowning around,
he is a hard worker when it comes to the band. Bruce and Steve appreciate
that as well as his talent on the drums.
Chris' birthday is December 30,
1970. He graduated from Broadcasting School in Springfield, Missouri prior
to joining the band. He gets to demonstate this talent on the band's renditions of "Radio Disco Show" and "Bitanic", both of which you can find on the "Complete" CD.
Chris moved to the Metroplex area of
Texas just before he went on his first summer tour with "Linder &
Brock". Chris collects hand puppets and loves cartoons. His favorite
food is pudding packs. Back home you might catch him at his favorite fast
food place "Whataburgers".
