Stephanie Green

Stephanie joined Linder & Brock in November of 1996. Instantly she became a favorite, not only with the other band members, but with the fans as well. Her endless energy and sparkling personality are just part of the reason she mixes well with this group. The main reason being her talent, of course.

Talent is something that Stephanie is not short of either. Her vocals harmonize well with Steve Linder and Bruce Brock, but she can stand on her own too. She does a great job with a medley of Gloria Estefan songs. Stephanie also is a keyboardist extrodinaire, having played piano since she was in the first grade.

A few personal notes on Ms. Green. She was born July 24, 1973 in Tacoma, WA and was raised in Chimacum, WA. She started singing in high school in plays and musicals. She attended Whitworth College in Spokane, WA. There she received a BA in Music and Education. Stephanie told me that she feels fortunate that she was teaching at a nonpermanent position in Port Angeles when she got the call from the band asking if she would like to join them. She feels that it was fate that had her accept this position over a permanent one that would have stopped her from realizing her dream of being a member of the band. Of the other band members Stephanie is quoted as saying that "It was like gaining 3 new brothers, because they are that close". The guys love to pull pranks on her!

Stephanie is single, but hopes one day to find a man that shares her dream of marriage and a family. She knows that it would take some one special to understand the demands of her career and help her find a balance of career and family. Her favorite performing artist is Trisha Yearwood, her favorite song "How Do I Live". Stephanie would love to perform in The Grande Ol' Opry with Trisha and her mentor Garth Brooks in the audience. Her favorite foods are Chinese, Tex-Mex, and frozen yogurt.Stephanie likes to collect music boxes and snow globes. When you see Linder & Brock, Stephanie wishes for you to have fun, forget your worries and find the magic that so many of their fans have!
