First, let me start by saying thank you for showing enough interest to arrive at my homepage. The song I've chosen to embed in my homepage, "Everything But Love" is a sample of the title soundtrack from Jillian's CD. It was written about Princess Diana and was recorded in 1995, well before her death. I am a vice-president of Jillian's fan club and I've decided to dedicate this homepage to her and her career. I have known Jillian for about eight years, and little did I know when I first saw her on stage performing "Blue Moon of Kentucky" that one day she'd be where she is now!

It all began at the Auburn Avenue Dinner Theater where I had gone to check out the place for an up-coming concert I was planning on attending. When I arrived, I was given a small tour of the place and made to feel at home by the owner Deanna Robinson. She was very friendly and asked me if I liked country music and invited me to come to a show and see what they were all about. I was very impressed by all of the local talent that performed on stage that night... so impressed that I made it a part of my routine to see a show at least once a month.... lately it's every weekend!

Within a year, Deanna decided it was time to forge a group and "Kickin' Country" was created consisting of three guys and two girls. Promoted by Deanna, they traveled to Nashville and were allowed to perform backstage at the Grand Ol Opry! But sadly, as time wore on, the members decided on other career paths and began dropping out one by one, leaving Jillian to follow her musical dreams as a solo artist. She's gained confidence over the years by having her 'comfort zone' (of fans) in the front row and by her performances on stage in such roles as 'Ado Annie' in "Oklahoma", 'Adelaide' in "Guys & Dolls", the lead role of 'Milly' in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", 'Frau Shroeder' in "Sound of Music", as understudy for 'Annie' in "Annie Get Your Gun", and as 'Molly' in "The Unsinkable Molly Brown". She also sings weekly doing 'pre-show' at the theater, performs at local fairs and events, and is hired for private concerts. She was even the opening act for two nights at the Auburn Performing Arts Center for Diamond Rio! She's also opened for Linder & Brock (a Dallas-based band) and Steve Azar. (You can check out their homepages through the links below.)

Jillian has made numerous trips to Nashville, and in September of 1996, she hosted a tour in which 35 fans were treated to a four day whirlwind tour (I was one of them) that included her performing at the 'Nashville Palace' (famous for being the place Randy Travis was a dish-washer while breaking into the biz) and at the 'Midnight Jamboree' (a live radio show broadcast over 30-some states). We also got a lunch trip on the General Jackson, got to visit the Grand Ole Opry (that night Garth Brooks and Martina McBride were scheduled guests... but we also had a surprise visit by Vince Gill and Reba McEntire!), the Barbara Mandrell museum (she and Jillian share the same birthday... December 25th!), and spent a full day at Opryland! She's recorded her first CD titled "Everything But Love" which includes the songs:
