The Clarke County FFA
Berryville, Virginia

Welcome to the Clarke County FFA home page. The Clarke County Chapter is 120 members strong.

The Clarke County chapter was chartered in February, 1951. At that time chapters from the Boyce Agricultural High School and Berryville High School joined together at the NEW consolidated Clarke County High School. Both parent chapters started their agriculture programs in 1919, and were original charter members of the FFV, Future Farmers of Virginia. They were chartered in the FFV, February, 1927.

Today the Clarke County FFA belongs to the Blue Ridge Federation, which are the FFA chapters located in the Northern part of the state: C.S. Monroe Vo-Tech FFA and Clarke County FFA.

Meet Chris Atkins, Clarke Counties first State FFA President. State Officers. Clarke County has been very fortunate over the past several years to have 5 state officers. The FFA members of Clarke are very proud of our heritage.

For all our first year greenhands, if you need to practice the FFA Creed, this is the place to look. You can also link to Virginia Tech - Home of the FFA, and learn more about the FFA History in Virginia and across the United States.

Come in and learn more about our chapter activities. Of all the FFA activities during the year, one of the most active is the annual Citrus Fruit Fundraising event. Money raised from this event helps out the local Senior Citizen Center and the Homebound Meals program of Clarke County, Scholarships and many of the other FFA activities throughout the year. Plus we help raise over 1000 pounds of food for the Salvation Armys food banks from the Christmas Basket Program .
