Q Howdy boys, and congrats on the ACM nomination! Each of your shows (I've been to two) seem so full of life and energy. Does it ever get hard to go out there night after night and keep wowing them? I hope there are plans for a return visit to Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada... -- from Erin McInnis in Arras, British Columbia

Q Hey! You guys are the best! I was just wondering- how did you guys pick your name? Mary Melton Tampa, FL
A Henry: Mary I'm from Tampa. Where do you live?
Q When do you guys plan on having a new album out? - M.M. Stockbridge, GA.
A Dave: New album is due out this summer(Aug.)

Q Jessica- Bemidji When did you decide to sing "In the Morning"?
A "Blackhawk": Jessica, we heard the song last year and decided to cut it on our new album.
Q Any plans for Fan Fair?? maggie, tn
A "Blackhawk": We'll be there, Thursday the 19th of June (10-1pm) our booth and we'll perform that afternoon on the Arista Stage.

A "Blackhawk": Brandi, thanks, we're not intimidated by anyone.
Q Hi guys!! Do you remember me? It's Lisa from Shippensburg University. I saw you guys at the concert in Charlotte, NC. I was wondering what will be your new single off the Love and Gravity album and why are you guys releasing the album so late?
A "Blackhawk": Lisa, yes, it's as quick as we could get it done. We don't know what the new single is going to be.
Q Are you guys planning to tour in or near New Mexico in the future? Shannon- NM
A "Blackhawk": Shannon, unfortunately we don't think so but we'll be in AZ.
Q Amber- Bemidji When is the next time you are going to be in Minnesota?
A "Blackhawk": Amber, we'll be there June 6th in Winsted.
Q How did you all meet, and what made you decide to call the group Blackhawk? SAM-New Mexico
A "Blackhawk": Sam, we met writing songs in Nashville and the name of the group came off the side of a panel truck in traffic - Blackhawk Printing.
Q Van, What song (that you've written) are you most proud of?(Reese Wilson's told me some good stories about the writing of "It's All In Your Head!") -Matt Curtis, Cedar City, Utah ('Hey Jodi Lee!')
A Van: Matt, "Let Em' Whirl" on our first album and "Stepping Stones" on our new album.
Q Henry, you seem to wear some of tightest jeans in country music. How do you move in those? JE in Washington DC
A Henry: JE, up and down!
Q Hi Dave, When did you learn to play the piano? Do you play other instruments? Martha, Cumberland, MD ps: live your live shows!
A Dave: Martha, piano lessons at age 6. I play no other instruments.
Q If you could have anyone in the world dead or alive performing with you in a song who would it be and why?? Brandi, Alberta Canada
A "Blackhawk": Brandi, John Lennon because he was the greatest song writer of our time. Happiness is a warm gun!
Q Do you guys ever get tired of women throwing themselves at your feet and acting like fools? :) LOL Laura Fisher Columbia,Mo
A "Blackhawk": Dear Laura, sometimes we feel like there is misplaced emphasis on one's appearance at the expense of the songs message.
Q Do you bring anything special from home when you are on the road? Cathy, MA
A "Blackhawk": Cathy, we bring movies, running shoes, mountain bikes and golf clubs.
Q I love your song "I'm Not Strong Enough To Say No" what inspired you to sing that song? Traci AL
A "Blackhawk": Traci, it mirrors our life's situations.
Q Mark Whorley Michigan Technological University I was wondering when and where you plan to play in Michigan this summer. I Have seen you each of the last 3 summers. I first saw you in Houghton, MI in '94, then in Grand Rapids and Fowlerville in '95, and in Grand Rapids in '96. I'd hate to break my tradition...
A "Blackhawk": Mark, we'll be in Michigan July 10th, at Hartford.
Q Hello..My name is Pamela and I've been a follower of yours for years. I wanted to thank you for showing me that dreams can come true if you work for them. A "Blackhawk": Pamela, good luck at Belmont. We just knew, we don't know how or why.

A "Blackhawk": Laura, we're all married (all the good one's are taken...just kidding).
Q Beverlee/Des Moines. You guys look great on stage. Tell the truth...have any of you ever owned a leisure suit?
A Henry: Beverlee, I have a friend who makes all my leisure suits. She is very talented, but most of all quite cute. Love, Henry!
Q Did your children have a hard time adjusting to you all being gone so much? -Pam, Nashville
A "Blackhawk": Pam, yes, they all have adjusted to the job but we still miss them and they still miss us.
Q What different types of backgrounds do each of you bring to "BlackHawk"? By the way, your concerts are the greatest. Amy in NC
