CURRENT PROJECTS
.
CD number two!!!!! Wagner
is currently working in the studio again with fellow musicians; Tom Harhart,
Scott Fritz, Reed Sibly, and Woody Wolfe. Wagner is extremely excited
about this album and hopes to have it available by late this year.
Keeping in tradition with the his other albums, the songs are all original
and acoustic, with a folk/grassy sound. Keep in touch to find out
the release date and details for a CD release party!
Wagner has also been performing with
the nationally acclaimed historical interpreter Richard Pawling and friend
Matthew Harrison with their group "The History Alive
Boys!" which has been touring the United States interpreting history
using songs from the good old days. The group was formed in the spring
of 1996. Working with Time Warner Co., the group has
produced two documentaries. The first, entitled "Building
the Rails, the Life of a Gandy Dancer," recently aired on the
History
Channel, and the second "Fire in the Hole, a Coal Miners Tale"
has been seen by audiences across the country. The group has just
released their first compact disc in the spring of 1998, filled with songs
from the good old days. The upcoming summer has the group on the
road performing their busiest year yet. If you're interested in history
and traditional music be sure and catch the History Alive Boys on their
summer tour and watch them bring history alive!
Between singing at camps for kids,
recording, and performing with the History Alive Boys, Wagner performs
solo concerts across the East Coast. Like Ramblin Jack Elliott, Wagner
is a hard man to catch, but if you're lucky enough to catch a show, it's
guaranteed to be a memorable one!
