I got this from the opeltuners message board. I'm not sure, but it looks like a simple way to give yourself +/- 6 degrees of timing adjustment. The picture is from the ENEM website.

You start by adjusting the valves to the recommended clearence, then you you turn the engine to TDC, and note the opening of the intake valve. I'm using an adjustable cam wheel. I don't know the manufacture. Hovever you can make your own adjustable wheel: There is a picture on enem webpage. I don't know if you know swedish so here's the procedure in english (in swedish on the webpage): You need two camwheels. Start by putting the two wheels on top of each other with the marks "in the same place". Use an axle (a piston rod if you have one) to fix the wheels. Now turn the top wheel until the mounting holes align again and drill through the top wheel down through the bottom wheel. Do this again and you'll end up with a wheel, that is 6 degrees adjustable
