There are four of us in my family. I live with my mother, my father, and my grandmother (who everyone calls nanny). To see my family, click here. From left to right: me, my Mom, and my Nanny. Dad isn't in the photo, so he must have taken the picture.
My mom also has a Web Page that I'm helping her design. Her site has a lot of travel links, since it's an interest that both her and I share. Visit her site, you'll find plenty of things to do and places to go!
Sad news: On February 14, 2001, my pet parakeet, Chipper, died. He had been sick for a while and towards the end wasn't able to eat anything or drink his water. Chipper was very much a member of my family, and we all miss him very much. As much as he is missed, I'm glad that he's at peace now and is no longer suffering.
Chipper used to fit right in with his bird talk, raising his chirps as we would get louder, trying to out-do us.
Here is a picture of Chipper, taken when he was about a month and a half old. Chipper was a male bird, and we attempted to train him to talk. It took about 8 months, but he he did learn to talk a little bit. He could say "Pretty Birrrrd" and "Chipper dipper do" As I mentioned before, Chipper loved it when there was action (and noise) around. He especially enjoyed The Drew Carey Show. I always expected to hear him say "Bite Me Dough Bird," but he never did learn to say that! He also had a favorite video that we would put on for him whenever we cleaned his cage. That video was a sing-a-long Christmas tape the U.S. Postal System sold a few years ago, with Frosty the Snowman on it.
Here's a picture of me. It was taken in September 1998, in Newport, Rhode Island on the Cliffwalk.
