Nashville night life is not too much different than the party crowds in Canada, alot calmer I would say. I'd say Calgary probably has more in common with Texas, but Tennessee is still fun!

I met my husband in Calgary, Alberta in 1990. He's a singer/songwriter and was playing the Stampede with his band when we got to know one another. In case, you're not familiar with the Stampede, it's the world's largest rodeo event and held once a year in Calgary - you could also safely call it the world's largest annual party for Cowboy's. Next to Mardi Gras, it's big time to say the least.

As far as the theme of these Pages, we're just going to center it around what I do for a living. So, let's pour some drinks!

Below are some links to recipes as well as a few of my favorite Home Page Remedies. And in case you have any to add, please drop them in my Mail Box.
Here are a few "Home Page Remedies" you can throw together on a late night with a few various items around the kitchen: if you happen to have a bottle of Rum sitting in the house, you can create one of the following drinks -

"Cafe Bacardi": Pour 1 1/2 ounces of Rum into a cup with some hot coffee and top with a little whipped cream.

"Spice Tickle": Pour 1 1/2 ounces of Spice Rum into a glass of pineapple juice.

"Spice Driver": Pour 1 1/2 ounces of Spice Rum into a glass of orange juice.

"Cranberry Cabana": Take a big glass of ice and pour in the following ingredients - 1 oz of pineapple juice, 4 1/2 ounces of cranberry juice, 1/2 oz of grenadine, 1/2 oz of lemon juice and 1 1/2 ounces of light Rum.

Or make yourself a "Mudslide": 2 ounces of vodka, 2 ounces of Kahlua and 2 ounces of Irish Cream in a tall glass over ice.

Have you ever had a "Toasted Almond"?: Take an old fashioned glass and over ice pour 1 oz of Amaretto, 1 1/2 ounces of Kahlua and 1 1/2 ounces of Light Cream.

"Christmas Punch": Take 3 frozen concentrates of your choice..preferably a red grape, a berry mix, and a strawberry, open and dump into a large punch bowl. Add 1/5 champagne, 1 quart ginger ale, 6 ozs of vodka (chilled) and 4 cups of crushed ice. Stir, serve and sit down.

Warning: This mixture has a tendency to put you in the mood to watch home videos while you are taping new home videos. However, when shared with the right friends, it's so good.
