To have that special touch
To know I've made an impact
Would mean so very much
For someone to remember
As the days and years go by
That at least on one occasion
I was at their side
To help them through a bad time
Or just to be a friend
Someone that they could count on
Through thick or through thin
To know that when my life is done
They might think of me and say
