Poems Of Longing |
I have tried to
translate some of my poems.
There may be some strange phrases, hope you don't mind
Fall
Rain on my
window
tapping a sound
Wind in my hair
moves it around
Miss all the summer
lovely and bright
Take out a candle
watch the warm light

Only a stone
There is a
stone on the beach polished and smooth
waves of water have rocked it gently
it knows of
nothing else
Someone
holds the stone tight in his hand
warmth and will
wake it to beauty
it knows of
something else

The wind
There comes
a wind from foreign land
to touch my cheek, my lips, my hand
It's warm and smells like blossom dew
That wind my dear, it comes from you

Life
Life is a long written story
that needs to be told every day
Not with big words about glory
but words about small things we say
But it
isn't enough with a texture
'cause everything is just that queer
that sometimes I need just a gesture
to make myself totally clear

Heart Garden
You planted
a garden
with dew fresh roses
then left it
deserted
to overgrow
but midst in the
weed
most beautiful roses
still marvellous
blossom scent flow

There goes
a song
of loss within the forest
a sough through sighing shadows
On the ground
in the moss
a lonely wintergreen
Look at it
Touch it
But never pick it
It's too precious

Memories
There they
are
unsorted,
inescapable
shining crystal
clear
or faded as
diffuse twilight
patterns
ethereal
elusive
deformed by time,
with perspective distortion
restrained by the
haste of day
but run wild
ready for attack
during the night
of truth

Cage Bird (song)
In a cage,
safe and secure, there's a bluebird with it's song
proud and pretty, yet so lonely, in spite of care for, all day
long
Food and
water, light and pleasure fill the cage from dawn till night
nothing missing, all is given little bird to it's delight
But a day
of light and beauty someone miss' to shut the door
Bluebird flies way out in sunshine free like never was before
Fly,
bluebird, fly! Try out your wings
Freedom is joyful when grievous is your day
Still the
blubird comes forever back to cage to live in peace
Freedom's tempting but a moment in a world where danger is.
