Vader... AVALANCHES JARRETT ON THE STEEL!!! Double J takes two steps forward... then falls flat on his face. Vader wipes the stream of blood from his vision... then SPLASHES Jarrett on the floor!!!
Vader looks around, breathing heavily. His back shows a wicked welt from the Singapore cane. There's a nasty cut on his front from the cane's first hit. Double J is just about moving on the floor below.
Vader climbs up on the apron...and goes to the first rope.... the second rope....
THE TOP ROPE!!!
JR: IF HE HITS THIS... IT'S OVER!!!
Heart Attack: If he hits this... WE'RE ALL FINISHED!!!
Vader leaps off with a VADER BOMB..... NOBODY HOME!!! Jarrett has rolled aside!!!! Vader lies motionless... with the wind knocked out of him!!! Cornette runs around like a wild man, yelling for Vader to get up!!!!
Vader barely begins to stir.... He gets up to one knee... and Double J... CLIPS IT OUT FROM UNDER HIM!!! Vader caves back down to the floor... and Double J... pulls on the leg... yanking it... then wrapping it up... IN THE FIGURE FOUR!!!!
JR: IT'S THE MOVE HE WON THE TITLE WITH!!! HE'S GOT IT ON THE WORLD CHAMPION!!!
Heart Attack: CAN VADER GET OUT OF IT????
Cornette pounds on the cage.... but Vader can't BREAK IT!!! He reaches the cage... but that doesn't break the hold!!!! Jarrett actually yanks him BACK from the cage.... pounding on the knee with his clenched fists!!!! Vader continues to flounder around... looking for an escape... AND FINDING NONE!!!!
Vader begins to slow.... refusing to surrender!!! Jarrett keeps the figure four on... pulling and twisting the leg!!!
JR: HE'S GONNA BREAK IT!!! VADER'S LEG... IT MAY SNAP LIKE A TWIG!!!
Heart Attack: LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE!!!
Vader's arms stop moving about.... and his body starts to slump down...... AND OUT!!! VADER'S OUT!!!! THE BELL RINGS!!!! Jarrett keeps the hold on for a few more moments.... then releases!!! THE SOLD-OUT MECCA SOUNDS AS IF IT DOUBLED IN ATTENDANCE!!!
The Roadie rushes around and grabs the WWF title belt from ringside, climbs into the cage and hands Jeff the title belt. He climbs the corners, holding it above his head. Then he tosses it down onto Vader and makes his way out, slapping hands with all the fans. Demolition watches him go. When he reaches the entrance, he turns around and looks out to the crowd and gives a goodbye wave, before disappearing through the curtains.
Demolition and Jim Cornette help out an irrate Vader. Cornette tries to calm him down as they leave. Jarrett's music is still playing over the speakers.
