Enough suspense! Here we go! Double J stayed in Hollywood throughout the Summer, but made a few WWF appearances. During a Raw from Nashville, that featured a Career Ending Stretcher Match between Scott Hall and Derrick Stardom, Double J made his presence known to watch the demise of his rival. Hall lost the match, and thus was forced out of the WWF for good. Cryin' shame, ain't it? Jarrett also gave an interview at In Your House in July. He said that he missed the action of the WWF, and that things seemed to be going out of control while he was away. Double J then began talking about a list that he had, of people in the WWF he felt he hadn't quite finished things with. Jarrett said that he planned to be at SummerSlam in August in some way, shape, or form, and that the first person on his list may be crossed off that very night. SummerSlam came, and Double J co-hosted the show with Jim Ross! Unfortunately, after SummerSlam the WWF went into a hiatus, and Jeff had to put the kibosh on his revenge list. It's a good thing, too... would YOU want to be on it? In December of 1997 the WWF returned to action with One Night Only, an event to crown a new WWF Champion. Double J was entered into one of the battle royals, but was eliminated. Before the match, though, Jeff announced that he was joining the reformed Horsemen along with Sting and the Ultimate Warrior. Well, that's enough for now! I'll add to this as more things happen in the lives of Double J, Elizabeth, or myself. So long, everybody! |
