Boy, do we have Links for you!    What would you like to do today?   You can start by checking out the Special   Friendship  Club , the Forum  where "Nana" goes to trade advice with her friends. They're a nice group to get to know. Want to chat? Check out Home Arts Chat if you read and type fast. It never stops scrolling so you have to be good to keep up. If you like the atmosphere of a fast-paced bar, go and visit Ye Old Tavern! These folks can get a little rough and they post a lot of graphics, some of which you might object to, so be prepared when you get there.  There's a Brand-New chat site online called! It's built by "Mickey Metts" who is one of the best. She has a full staff of good people so it's a great place to go.

Do you enjoy reading the newspaper? Two of my favorites are USA Today and CNN Online. I read them both seven days a week. I also read a local paper, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times . Do you need to find information? Try Yahoo and you will probably find what you're looking for. If not there are links at the bottom of the "Yahoo" page for a lot more search engines including Excite and Alta Vista. You can check out the US House of Representatives to learn what new legislation is being considered in Washington. Before you start complaining now remember, you're "Paying" those folks to hold that job. I'm not sure there's much work going on but they do have a job.

Are you interested in building "Web Sites" or maybe just a "Home Page"? You need to learn HTML so check out Introduction to HTML to get the basics. You can then move on to the Intermediate HTML Tutorial and then the Bare Bones Guide to HTML. That last one won't teach you much but it does give you a list of the basic commands. Now that you have a basic understanding of HTML, you need a graphical editor so you can start building your page. Here's AOL Press and it's "Free." It's pretty basic but the price is right. Need some "Graphics?" Start with Andy's Art Attack, then move on to The Design Shoppe. These should get you all the different backgrounds you can use for a while. Next go to Thumpers Home Page for all the graphics you can imagine. This site has a huge selection of just about everything. Put in a bookmark for the Color Code White Page so you can get there with a click. This site gives you the numbers for all the different colors you will need for text and background. Everyone needs a few Animated Graphics so this place should help a lot, they have hundreds. Want to use an Imagemap? Go here for ImageMap Instructions to get started on the right foot. There are different types of imagemaps so you need to understand which will work for you.

Are you ready for Politics? I'm a firm believer in the Second Amendment so one of my favorite sites is the National Rifle Association where you can get the truth about a lot of the things our politicians use for propaganda. "Politics," of course, is the art of controlling the mind of the masses and "Propaganda" is the art of telling the truth in such a way that it becomes a lie. How about the Paula Jones Legal Fund? You might as well have a good laugh at our Presidents expense, everyone else does. Try the Non-Partisan Center For Responsive Politics. If that isn't a major oxymoron I never heard one. You might want to visit VoxPop for an interesting view on a lot of different subjects. Everyone has an opinion you know.

Well, this should get you started and I hope you'll find some of this stuff helpful, or at least interesting. If you have a question, need some help, or just want to contact us, you can send an ICQ message or E-Mail us from the Family Room. Please let me know if you find any bad links.
