A modern country with high buildings, modern highways, very luxury shops and restaurants.
But also traditional and poor with the ricefields and small villages in the country. A big difference between the north and the coast.
But everywhere very friendly people, good places to stay overnight and very good and healthy food.
I love Thailand, it's people and it's rich culture.
Delicious! You can eat everywhere, on the street, the foodcentre, the supermarket and the little Thairestaurants.
My favorites: ricesoup in the morning, Padthai and bananas with coconutmilk in the afternoon, greencurry with steamed rice and papayasalad in the evening.
Perhaps a glass of real Thai wine or fresh coconutdrink.
Going by a tuuk-tuuk,is a real pleasure, you must have done it once! But going by bus is the best and most cheapest way. A normal or an airco bus. There are going many busses to all directions.
