Don Shorock's Winfield Memory of 17 Oct 1998
In 1998, Riverat hosted the first WV Band Scramble.
This picture shows the performance of the winning group.
Greg Tucker (Riverat) provided the following information:
The mandolinist on the on the right is Dennis Hardin (he and Kim Hamlin just released their first CD last summer, it's a blusey set called Hamlin & Hardin), Julie Bales is standing beside him playing guitar, the accordian player is Maureen (Moe) Masters, the electric bass player is Brook Blanche; and Linda Cunningham stands on the left playing guitar and singing. They called themselves 'Rumble Weed'. Their two songs were 'Rain' and 'Do I, Do I' (at least I think those are the correct titles).
