BLUEBERRY CAKE [new dessert to try!] 1/2 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup berries 3/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Alternate flour and milk, etc... Sprinkle top with granulated sugar before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. By using an oblong pyrex pan for this you will have a smaller cake than with a mix. Lady Ann |
