Marty a life long native of the mountains of North Georgia has been
in the music business for 29 years entertaining across the country with
several gospel groups. In August of 1998 Marty was sitting on his
back deck and drinking coffee from his stainless steel cup while he was
enjoying the view and quietness from his mountain home.
Looking out at his old pickup truck words began to come to his mind.
He got paper and a pencil and began to write.
After he had finished writing he put it all together and
lo and behold he had written his first country song.
After showing it to his friends and family to see what they thought
they began to encourage Marty that he needed to take the song
to Nashville and record it. So on November 5th 1998
Marty went to Nashville, Tn. and recorded his
#1 SINGLE RECORDING:

Since then Marty has written 11 other songs he hopes to record in the
near future. So look out for this man from the mountains as he makes
his way up the ladder of country music.
