This is my Nammie! She's my mom's mom. When my mom and dad seperated when I was seven, my mom needed to find a babysitter. Somehow the idea came around that my Nammie should watch me. Mom needed a sitter, Nammie needed a little extra cash, and the rest is history. Nammie became essentially the live in Nanny during the day. She would usually leave after dinner, but sometimes she stayed the night. She was there until I was fifteen or so. We kind of lost that Grandmother/Granddaughter relationship to a "you're not my boss"/"yes I am" relationship. My mom says we fight because we're too much alike. I guess she's right, but I'm proud of that because it means I'm a very strong, independent woman who stands up for her beliefs. I LOVE YOU NAMMIE! |

Last but certainly not least are the Blystones. I hope to eventually have a picture of all of them, but for now a description will have to do. These people are my second family. I grew up with them. Bruce Blystone went to high school and was friends with my dad growing up. Through my dad, my mom met Maxine (Tinti) Blystone and they became best friends. Bruce and Maxine had their first child, Mandy, 3 months after my mom had me. We always said we were belly buddies...destined to be together. Mandy was my best friend growing up as well as the sister I never had. Four years after Mandy and I, in October of 1981, Amy Lynn was born. She was the obnoxious little sister I never had. The whole family now lives in Florida. Mandy is now married to Kris Williams. She has a step-son Nicolas and in July of 97' she had a son of her own named Kaulin. Eventhough we are all far away from each other I still miss my 2nd mom, dad, 2 sisters, and nephew. I LOVE YOU ALL!! |
