Seattle, WA. By Jennifer Cole

In Seattle Washington Trisha opened up for Garth Brooks. It was a sell out crowd! The shows went on for six nights and were all sold out. It took a whopping six hours. On stage Trisha came through the floor to start off with a song off her songbook album called Perfect Love. Trisha of course sang with Garth their duet that topped the charts the name of that song is In Another's Eyes. With her part of the show coming to a close she performed her first top of the charts song She's In Love With The Boy. The crowd cheered and went wild when she performed this song!

First of all, I would like to say I have been a Trisha fan ever since I heard Shes In Love with the Boy. She brought me into the country music world. Now for the concert. I attended the 3rd show out of 4 in Salt Lake City Utah where she opened for Mr Garth Brooks. I was 4th row on the floor center stage. I had made a poster saying WE (heart) TRISHA. I kept holding it up every now and then. First time she noticed it she looked at me and smiled during her outstanding performance on Perfect Love (which she opened with). I was so excited she saw my poster. All through the show she kept pointing at me, smiling, and saying Thanks. One time during The Song Remembers When she was singing while I was lip-singing with her she was looking straight at me and we were singing together (at least in my mind). I would like to comment also on the concert of course. WOW!! This woman can sing anything with perfection and her voice is so powerful it gives me chills when I hear it. She was very energetic on stage and you could tell she was having a blast. My only objection to her performance is that she wasnt on long enough. When the Female Artist of the Year is on stage the fans need to hear at least an hour from her. But other than that I was very very pleased with her performance, even enough to go to Las Vegas for another show!! My favorite part of the show was when Trisha came back out and sang In Anothers Eyes and Walkaway Joe with Garth. It was so beautiful and I hope they put out an album of duets soon. I also loved her performance on How Do I Live. It was so good I was crying. Now during intermission which was the highlight of my life. I was gossiping with my friend and some guy came out from backstage. He said give me your poster because Trisha wants to sign it. OH MY GOD!!! She wants to autograph my poster. I was freaking out and bauling at the same time. When he came back out with the poster he gave it to me and said Trisha wants to thank you for making her day. With tears in my eyes I said tell her thank you for making my life. The poster read "Thank You, Love Trisha Yearwood" Then he had a walkie talkie and told us to say thank you to Trisha because she was on the other line. We were all screaming thank you and I love you she probably couldnt understand us but I talked to Trisha, got her autograph, and best of all saw her in concert. This is a night I will never forget as long as I live. Trisha is always the #1 Female Artist in my book.

London, England. By Maico Hoksbergen

This concert was one of the 9 concerts Trisha gave in the United Kingdom in November. It took place in the Hammersmith Apollo and Trisha was so happy to be performing in a traditional music hall once again. The atmosphere at the Apollo was just great, as Allison Moorer opened for a sold out house. Moorer, a fellow MCA singer did a great job and warmed the crowd, but the crowd went wild as Trisha appeared on stage. The concert she gave was simple overwhelming, not in the last place due to the GREAT band that always accompanies her! She opened with "Perfect love" and continued with songs both recent and from previous albums. Highlights of the evening were stunning performances of "How do I live" where she satirically referred to Leann Rimes's version of this song, "Walk away Joe", which sounded better that I had ever heard it sound and "On a bus to St. Cloud" which she sang as encore. After almost three hours of music the audience left the music hall in a great mood. It was an awesome show! Hopefully, the enthusiasm of the crowd makes her consider coming to Europe more frequent!

Evansville, IN. By Heather and Laura.

My friend and I went with my parents to see Trisha and Garth during the summer of 1998. Of course we were there because my sister got up at the crack of dawn just to stand in line for hours. Being that it was a four show sell out our seats were less admirable as one would desire. I'm talking the nose-bleed section here, you know where you get out the binoculars just to see a little speck. I, my friend, and my parents attended the first show which was on a Thursday night. We arrived an hour early just so we could find our seats and try to get settled for the big show. We were minding our own business playing with the binoculars when a woman sat behind us. She started to talk to us and we thought she was waiting for the rest of her party to arrive. She asked us questions mainly about Garth Brooks. She asked,"So, are you girls big Garth fans? Are you here by yourselves? How did you get your tickets? Do you like your seats?" We told her that Garth was good but we were really there to see Trisha Yearwood. Of course when she asked us about or seats we said they were better than nothing. She then proceeded to tell us that she thought our seats weren't very good. At that we were a little offended. She then pulls out her 'Garth family pass' and tells us that she works for Garth. While in shock from her revelation she asked us if we would like to sit down in the 2nd row center stage. My parents were excited for us and said go ahead it's a great opportunity. Needless to say we were elated and could hardly believe our luck. The concert was very awsome, especially from the second row!!!!! My friend caught a guitar pick from Trisha's lead guitarist and we both touched Garth. That was the best concert we had EVER seen!!!! It was even better than the Aerosmith concert we saw in November of 1998.

Uncasville, CT.

I just got back from Trisha's show at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. It was absolutely fabulous!!!! She has such a God- given talent and hearing her sing simply leaves me in awe. She sang a variety of songs including her hits and some songs from her albums. She did "Little Hercules" and "You Can Sleep While I Drive"(as an encore and forgot some of the lyrics but she made a good joke of it and started over....great recovery).......which she said she hadn't done in too many shows but people seemed to love hearing them, which of course the crowd in CT did also! The entire show was great but my particular favorites were, "Little Hercules", "The Song Remembers When", "Wrong Side of Memphis", and her rendition of John Cougar Mellencamp's song "Small Town"(which she commented makes her think of her home in Georgia). Trisha was simply superb! My only disappointment was she didn't play longer(she played about 1 hour & 25 minutes) and she didn't do one of my favorite songs, "Those Words We Said".....but I guess if she did everyone's favorites, we would be there all night! Great, great show!
