Trisha's new album "Real live woman" is out! It was released on March 29, almost two years after her last album "Where your road leads". According to Trisha her new album is more intense and profound than her previous albums. Indeed, the lyrics on "Real live woman" are of very high-quality, which is not very surprising when considering that renowned writers as Kim Richey, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, Matraca Berg and Bruce Springsteen all wrote for this album!

Trisha's "Real live woman"-tour will kick-off in St.Louis, MO on Tuesday April 25. To check if she will be appearing somewhere near you, click here for tour schedule

Trisha appeared in a Dutch news programme on saturday November 14th. The programme, which receives good ratings, showed a conversation between Trisha and Ilse DeLange, who is the first European country singer to sign a major record deal with an American label. Trisha has always been Ilse's idol and both women really enjoyed the meeting. After exchanging some useful hints, they sang "The song remembers when" together. Hopefully this programma, which was taped just before Trisha's concert in Coventry, England, will make Trisha even more popular in Europe!

"How do I live" just misses Oscar...

The song sung by Trisha in the motion picture "Con Air" unfortunately has not
been able to win an Academy Awardfor . The Oscar for best Original Music
went to Celine Dion for her song in, of course, Titanic. This naturally is a
little disappointing, but having won 2 Grammy's it is already a great year
for Trisha after all!
