A*mei will be presenting "Mei Li new millenniem" album, a compliation of old songs and new ones, at the end of this month. There will be a first time collaboration of the "heavenly queen" and "golden melody song king" Lee Hom in the album, creating sparks in singing of the song "Love Never Disappears".

In the midst of stepping into the new millennium, Zhang Hui Mei will be partnering Lee hom for the first time, creating new musical sparks. Lee Hom specially wrote the song "Love Never Disappears" for A*mei. The inspiration originally came from the 921 earthquake in Taiwan. Lee Hom saw A*mei rushing to Central Taiwan disaster areas, showing her concern for the victims. A lot of emotional scenes were witnessed then, hence getting the inspiration to write a song especially for A*mei.

While A*mei was in the studio recording this song, many emotional scenes flashed across her mind, till the extent that she almost went hoarse trying to express her emotions.

While Lee Hom was in HongKong, a fan asked him regarding the song. He replied that the song was about to be released, but it would be sung by a female artiste from another company. He added that it was a secret, a surprise. Who would have thought that it would be A*mei!
