See the millennium Lee Hom, we give you "Forever's First Day"

This is the theme song of Cotton USA 2000. Lee hom had expressed the song's rich feelings clearly through his voice, allowing a person to sink deeply into the song immediately : A pair of long-distance lovers, going through pains of missing each other till their reunion. The guy hugs the girl ever so tightly, as though their world has just begun. Just like what the lyrics of the song was trying to say, "Today i see the 1st day of forever, finally realising our promise.....this is another beginning, i will love you till forever..."

Starting from "Revolution", "Impossible to Miss You" till this new millennium's break-through "Forever's First Day", we can see the periodical changes of Lee hom. Gone are the sunshine boy's innocence, Lee hom presented an image of embracing the city with optimism in his new album, just like his busy life shuttling between New York, Taiwan and Boston in the name of making music. This is a different Lee hom, a more manly Lee hom.

This is the 1st time that Lee hom is fully in charge of producing an album. From a collection of 40 over songs which he had conposed since 1999, to the narrowing down of 10 songs, the whole production period took more than a year. His strong dedication to his musical works can be seen throughout his album. Due to the fact that he had received training in classical, jazz and broadway music, the whole album reeks of strong college-student life mood.

Through the process of production, we see Lee hom facing his music with more maturity, taking pains to make sure that nothing goes wrong in every step along the way, doing everything by himself if possible. To him, making music is not a way to earn big bucks, to be a star, but it is to make a contribution to the Mandarin music market, hoping that Taiwan's music scenario will grow to be more mature and that he would be one of the people who helped achieve it.
