Leehom pours his dejected feelings into his new songs.

Taiwan's "Golden Melody King", Wang Leehom, took one whole year to compose his new album, putting his own love-life story into the songs.

The song, "You Can Tell Me", from his new "Forever's First Day" album, was inspired by his recent feelings from his broken relationship. Filming <"China's Strike Force"> in Hong Kong at the moment, Leehom did a long-distanced interview with our reporter. He said:"This is a 'long-distance' relationship. Because we seldom see each other, hence the question of 'Can you tell me whom do you still love' has been raised very frequently."

According to our knowledge, Leehom was on a plane when he was overcomed by his own feelings to pen down his love story. He found that his relationship was drifting furthur apart due to the fact that the couple are separated in 2 different places. In a moment of sadness, he wrote the song so as to share it with his fans.

He added:"I spent one whole year just to complete this album. Everyday hiding in the studios, til my goatee grows long, my hair turns messy....finally i have successfully completed it. This is my first time being the sole producer of a album."

Was it because of the break up that you needed such a long time to complete the album?

He replied:"The music in this album charted the progess of my growth, there were a few songs that i did a daring change to it. Exmaples like "Descendants of the Dragon". This is a relatively old song, i used many modern instruments in the process of recreating it, the end-results, the feel, were indeed different, i hope the fans would enjoy it."

The original writer of the song,"Descendants of the Dragon" is actually Leehom's uncle. Leehom was rewarded with very good comments from his uncle when he played the new and inproved version of the song to him.

Leehom will be in town in this September to promote his new album.
