Coco Lee, Wang LeeHom ; Same breed, different routes

Spending their growing up days in America, Coco Lee and Wang Leehom share the same ambition of releasing their own english albums. Having already released a worldwide debut english album, Coco is now gearing up for her second one. However Leehom on the other hand, has to temporary shelf his english album, to make way for a series of mega-concerts later this year. He will be putting all efforts into his up-coming chinese album.

Even before the confirmation that she might be singing during the Oscars, Coco has already received notice from Sonymusic that a second english album is on the way. The response from Coco's spectacular Oscar performance has been overwhelming, hence more haste would be put into preparing for the 2nd album. However, Coco is now focusing on her new chinese album, which is due in summer. Only after the chinese album is successfully released, would Coco plunge into the production of the English album, taking a step nearer to making it international.

Leehom had already made preparations last year to release an english album this year. He had planned to collaborate with SonyMusic Japan and use its newest recording studio in japan for its production. However all these would have to wait now. Leehom has decided to put his focus on music this year, and hopes to put up a series of ticket-selling concerts this summer. After much consideration. leehom decided to shelf his english album temporary, to concentrate on the concert preparation and the chinese album which would be released concurrently.

Leehom's manager, Chen Xiang Jun, expressed that Leehom has intentions to do an english album, but the priority is not there now. This is due to the lack of interest in the music industry now. It is more important to get the chinese album out. Sonymusic has given Leehom much space for him to decide the best time for his english album. Similarly to the last few albums, Sonymusic has given full control of the chinese album to Leehom. Leehom wholeheartedly wanted his good friend, David Tao to join in the production. However due to their busy schedules, it was deemed impossible this time.
