Some say it's just the internet
and that it isn't real
but I know from experience
the way it makes you feel......
it's coming home to friendship
at the end of a long day
and chatting endless hours away
with folks you'll hope will stay....
cause you meet family on the net,
folks you never want to lose.
They're friends and fun and
everyday you'll catch up on their news....
And some will find their true love here
while some will find despair
when time at last will show
that what they wanted wasn't there....
And if it's love, it's just as strong,
as any love you find...
You'll want to share your life
and love with this one who's so fine....
But if fate intervenes to take
this love away from you
and leave you bruised and battered,
wondering what to do.....
you'll know just where you need to turn
to get back on your feet
cause you have friends who understand
and that's what makes life sweet.
