·          Determined cause for lack of profitability in newly acquired Collins small aircraft radio line.

·          Used Quatro-Pro spreadsheet application to perform extensive analysis on bill of materials and labor charges, revealing that labor hadn’t been correctly applied to most of the line sub-assembly levels. Once this was determined and labor appropriately adjusted, the profit margin improved over 60%.

Environmental Test Lab Supervisor

Supervised 4 technicians engaged in environmental testing of optical semi-conductors.

·          Developed personal computer based Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet system to allow effective scheduling and tracking of semi-conductor sub-groups through the environmental testing process.  This greatly improved the reliability and accountability of this process.

Dept of The Army Recreation Machine Program – Seoul, South Korea

Supervised four technicians engaged in route maintenance of slot machines located in various military clubs on the South Korean peninsula.

·          Organized and coordinated annual preventive maintenance of all Department of the Army Recreation Machine Program slot machines in the northern section of the South Korean peninsula.  This project reduced the amount of down time on the slot machines, increasing the amount of revenue collected.

·          Created and established a central repair facility for the support of twenty field service technicians engaged in the maintenance and repair of electromechanical slot machines and video poker machines located at various military clubs on the South Korean peninsula.
