My malayalam songs will always remind me of my College days. Malayalam always was & remains a language which I was afraid of & these songs started one very eventful afternoon in my life. As usual, there was this girl whom I liked & I was thinking about her while I was walking through the 1st floor of our college's main building. I was thinking of the old Prem Nazir films & I thought: "How nice it would be if I could make a nice & lovely typical malayalam song for her". Thus was born "Lavanyame ente ninavilunarum premasnakalpame". I never wrote these lyrics, it was always my friend Praveen who helped me, I just gave the ideas, he made it into words, but of course, sometimes I was forced to write the lines myself. Our Malayalam songs will remind you of the Golden era in malayalam film music. You can feel the rhythm & the fall & rise of the waves on the river banks in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala......
