Sun song

lyrics: Shilpa Bhatia
Music: Vijay

Up above the Blue Mountains,
They say there stayed a cloud once,
'Twas a lil girl cloud for sure,
'Coz she was pretty & soft

A cute lily-pod of honey,
The Sun loved her,
As she'd wake he'd see her there,
And sigh when he saw her a' floatin

Her smile would light him up,
And make him beam from dawn to dusk,
Showering her love, that misty dew,
she'd welcome him to a day all new.
And he would think …

'If only I were the wind',
'I would sing to her & love her so',
'And embrace her with my soft wings',
June I love u so much,
you're a dear…

She watched him now, pale and dim,
She said 'Poor dear, I should talk to him...',
Floating across she said aloud,
'Ma lil sweet, Im just a cloud',

'A cloud among the million here',
'Nothing special, a nobody dear',
'Unworthy of your love so true',
'I am not, the one for you'.

'But listen up dear ma lil sweet!',
'Being loved by you is a real treat',
'Its only when you're here, warm and shining',
'That I light up happily, with a silver lining'.

'You dear, with your radiant light',
'Make a lonely speck of cloud a sight',
'I crave to bask in your golden glow',
'Warm and bright, yet wonderfull'

'For your love, I am grateful indeed',
'And remember I am here in your every need',
'My love for you would not decrease',
'Even when time itself wishes to cease'

Saying this, away she went,
To him whose she was to be meant,
The Sun watched her smiling, sad,
That was the last he saw of her,

For one day he heard deep thunder,
Offering her heart to the plains below,
Transforming into the July rain,
She flew away, beyond his sight

To this day, the Sun tries hard,
To make a cloud so bright & warm,
But none he makes are close to June,
His lost beloved, his sweet lil honey...
