SITE UPDATED (12/13/02) Latest Amy Grant News (12-13-02) I had the chance to see Amy and Vince at the Boston Pops last night and it was a GREAT show!! Click on the review link on the left to read my VERY extensive review of the show and to see the setlist!! -Here is all the info I have on Amys upcoming Studio Album Simple Things! So far these are the tracks that have been mentioned or have been rumored to be on the CD for a long time: 1. Out in the Open 2. Innocence Lost 3. Simple Things(Currently being performed during the Legacy Tour) 4. Eye to Eye 5. Lies 6. After the Fire. At this point the CD is Expected to be released in early 2003 but as is always true for Amys albums dont be surprised if it is delayed more!. -Well Legacy is out and doing very well on the Billboard charts! It debuted at #21 feel to #50 last week, and this week is holding strong at #51 on the Billboard top 200! BTW for those that have not heard of the CD it is a new Greatest hits CD that came out this week and has songs from the albums "Amy Grant" through "Unguarded". I picked it up on Sat and it is pretty good. The songs have been remastered and they sound better then the original versions. First off Amys new Hymns CD has an OFFICIAL release date of May 21st and it will be called "Legacy". -Secondly Amy will have a new BOX set coming out this summer called "Pieces of Heaven and Pieces of Earth" it will have both CCM songs and POP songs on it. -Lastly Amy's long awaited album of new material will be called "Simple Things" though that title may change. The release is set for the Fall. Also Amy revealed 2 new songs she recently recorded to be on probably her fall release "Lose of Innocence" and "Eye to Eye." Stay Tuned here for all the latest Amy news!! -I went to this years Amy Grant and Vince Gill "A Christmas to Remember" tour on Dec 8th and my review of the show will finally be up sometime this week (as well as some pics but they did not come out to good) so stay tuned!! "Out In The Open" "I Can Only Imagine" "After The Fire" "Beautiful Accident" "Where Are You" - Amy and her husband Vince Gill recently had a baby girl on March 12th, her name is Corrina Grant Gill. Corrina weighed 7 lbs. 9 1/4 oz at the time of her birth.
