I love this cd. Schankman twins are on of the hottest new vocalist and instrumentalists to enter the bluegrass music scene. Dana Schankman is an award winning banjo player who developed a love for the banjo at age ten. Lauren schankman is an award winning fiddle performer. Lauren developed a desire to study fiddle becoming an accomplished pianist at age eleven. michael Alden, their fifteen year old brother, is the newest member of the bans. micheal has alreadt earned a reputation as an outstandin vocalist. to end my article i really love these girls singing when i saw them in decatur a couple years ago i reall love their singing.

On this new cd their first feature a mixture of songs from the traditional vein of bluegrass music but their are few orignals on the new cd,
Their are a four instrumentals on the new cd clinch mtn backstep,cherokee shuffle,shuckin the corn, and also a new insturmental by the banjo player called new hope crossing. very nice vocals even though they to keep it traditional as it get.it kind of sounds like the banjo player is playing a steath banjo the thenew cd. just to summit up if you like good traditional bluegrass music this band and cd is just for you and it hit right on the mark.

This cd had songs that are previously released from a long time ago. and somebody found them on day and issued them on this new cd. The great benny martin does justice on every songs on this cd.Tthe instrumentation is great to listen to and also benny vocals also there are half instrumentals and half vocals. If you like some of the best unpreviously reissued benny martin from those good old days this cd is just for you.I will give credit to whoever found these recordings. i remember benny martin when he was with flatt and scruggs and many other artists he pleayed with. Me and my fiddle and Benny's Tenneseess Rock are one of my two favorite cuts on this cd. Be sure to pay attention to Benny's Tennessee Rock it kind of remind me of this limerock i heard many times before.
If you like a mixture of great fiddle tunes and vocals this cd is just for you.
